American Payroll Assn Names Thomson Reuters Exec Jim Paille as President
Paille has been a member of the APA since it was founded in 1982 and served on its board of directors for the past 11 years. He brings to the position a wealth of knowledge from an accounting and finance career that spans 40 years.

Jim Paille, the director of compliance for Thomson Reuters myPay Solutions, is the new president of the American Payroll Association (APA). He will serve in the role until May 2017. Paille’s blog articles on payroll issues also appear on CPAPracticeAdvisor.com.
The APA, with more than 20,000 members, is a leader in payroll education and training.

At Thomson Reuters, Paille is a key leader in the myPay Solutions organization, which is provides online payroll processing services in partnership with accounting firms to serve their small and mid-sized business clients. He is also a member of the National Speakers Bureau and chair of the CPP Certification Review Panel. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY.
